Posted on Sunday, 14 December 2008

Hey people! I'm back from my holiday at Cameron Highlands and KL. It was a very fruitful and fun trip, and I took LOTS of photos man! I will upload the photos soon, as I need time to select the best photos and put on my blog for you all to see! Anyway, just tell you all the 2 tours that I mentioned in my previous post that I went for in Cameron Highlands.

Nature Discovery Tour
RM 60.00 per adult
  • A drive up to the highest point of Cameron Highlands - Mount Brinchang located at a majestic height of 6666 feet above sea level. A climb up the viewing tower will afford you a most panoramic view of the highlands. You will enjoy the cool crisp mountain air among the serenity of the surroundings
  • A short trek into the mossy forest. A world of wonders of nature awaits you. Be awe-struck by the variety of pitcher plants of different shapes and sizes, beautiful wild orchids and herbal plants such as the famous 'Kacip Fatimah'
  • Vantage point of the Tea Plantation with a bird's eye view of the 'Giant Green Carpet of Malaysia'. Be amply rewarded with the spectacular sight of the rolling green hills against the azure blue skies
  • Visit to the renowned 'BOH' Tea Factory. Have a memorable experience viewing the full process of tea and learn how the distinctive aroma of tea is developed
  • Sojourn to the aboriginal resettlement which has a blend of modern and traditional charm. The uniqueness of this village is an eye-opener to many tourists
Agro Delight Tour
RM 65.00 per adult
  • Exotic cactus farm with mini fruit orchard - apples, giant-sized lemons and 'dripping tomatoes'
  • Strawberry farm with self-picking of strawberries allowed
  • Beautiful flower nursery
  • Water-cress farm
  • Open terraces of conventional farming
  • Organic farming
  • Lettuce delight
  • By pass a Chinese farming village
After Cameron Highlands, I went down to KL. The bus ride was like a VERY LONG; due to the jam at KL, the bus ride took about 5 hours! This time at KL, my shopping 'loot' was a pair of Ray-Ban shades and a pair of DIESEL boxer shorts. My younger sister was the one with the largest 'loot', bought a lot of stuff for herself. Anyway, overall, I feel that this trip was indeed fun yet fruitful trip, and I really enjoyed myself there. Looking forward to my next holiday!~ =)
