Teck Ghee Primary 5 Day Event
Did a day event for Teck Ghee Primary 5 student leaders, whereby the activities are conducted at my fav campsite -> jbac! =) the kids were pretty nice, comprising of monitors, monitoresses, cca leaders and prefects. the kids were nice, especially for my group 5 (14 pple) =) they were pretty responsive and obey my instructions diligently. we managed to do abseiling, low elements, general stations, but did not manage to do CRC cos raining, so in the end, we did rock-climbing. mlc was cancelled because of the rain too. followed the bus back to school, started mass singing with the kids and showing them my ic and army photo, which brought lots of lol throughout the bus! =)
A few shout-outs for this event:-
Thanks to mojo and the rest of the instructors for staying back to clean up!
Thanks to group 5 for making my Saturday a nice one!
Thanks to shalon for buying bubble tea in for us!
Thanks to ahmad for taking the mop and be 'auntie'!
Thanks to cheryl for the nice company!

Movie review: The Orphanage
This is really a very good and must-watch horror-thriller flick, and it has a very heartwarming ending too! initially, i thought it was those kind of horror and will scare the hell out of you kind of movie, but in the end, it's not and it's really worth a watch! =)

Thanks for your cap! i like it very much =)
Take care at CCK camp...

Went in for Westwood Secondary campfire yesterday... rented a Fiat Punto for $50 and pumped $40 worth of petrol (shared by me, hor heh, rendall, kent, jaclyn and jolene). in the end, it was proven that this was much more cost-efficient than taking public transport+cab. after campfire, went to an Indian foodplace near hor heh's place for supper and fetched the rest back after that. reached home at 3.30am. bathed and slept at 4.00am.

Woke up at 8.00am. supposed to meet jolene then go pick up jaclyn together, so as to send her for her interview. in the end, jolene last min ps then i got to go alone. to worsen the situation, i wanted to leave my house without my mum knowing, and the moment i unlocked the gate, my mum came out of the lift! as i don't want her to know that i rented a car, so i told her i need to go school for project meeting. in the end, she said she had to go to the market, so offered to send me to the MRT when the car is in the multi-storey carpark! therefore, i got to take a feeder bus from pasir ris MRT back to my house's multi-storey carpark =( stupid right!! haha!

went off to jaclyn's place, and since jolene said jaclyn has sore throat, and since i was early, i went to the medicine hall opposite her place to buy ginseng chrysanthemum tea for her. while walking pass the coffee shop, saw the $2 sign for fish ball minced meat noodle, which really surprised me as i did not expect to see people selling $2 noodles nowadays; therefore, decided to order 1 and eat. hee;) after eating, went to meet jaclyn. on the way to SMU, there was a massive jam that caused jaclyn to be slightly late for her interview. luckily, the interview went smoothly with no hiccups =) the interview was very short (about 10 min); thus, we decided to go pick jolene up from her place; then go jaclyn's place for her to change out of her bright green corporate wear (haha!). after that, both pretty ladies accompanied me to turf city to return the rented car; whereby after that, we went off to Simply Bread for sticky buns and iced water! wanted to go for movies after that, but jaclyn not feeling well, so all decided to go home. went off to CHA office to meet cheryl; whereby i managed to psycho gerald to not do the day event tmr and let me do. yeah! after super-short pcb by mojo, cheryl and i and gerald and gwen went to Fisherman's Wharf for a seafood feast! fish and chips, fried oysters, fried calamari, fried prawns = SATISFYING! =)

Yesterday's campfire will be my LAST campfire till my holidays.. and i repeat and emphasize that this will really be the LAST campfire till my holidays starting on 24th Apr. i realized that i had been procrastinating and swallowing my words when it comes to campfires, but this time, potato is for real.

please take care at cck camp. i know you can look after yourself, but still, please do take good care of yourself, drink more water and rest more.

will miss you till 24th apr...

happy easter day to all!~
met the instructors at town for pool and talk-cock session. the weather kinda spoiled it, but it was nice meeting up with the instructors and getting to know a few new instructors =) after that, went off to church for easter service with Cheryl. it was really nice and heartwarming, and although i am a new believer, i can really feel the pain when Jesus died on the cross for us, due to the sins and wrongdoings that we had done. anyway, just gonna say... thanks Lord for hearing and answering my prayers when i say them, be there to lend a listening ear when i need one and always there when i need help. thank you Lord! =) in addition, i wanna thank the new church friends i just known: junyao jesline debbie carrie zz jessie and the rest whom i cannot remember the names already.. thanks for helping me and teaching me what god has for me.. i really appreciate it a lot! especially junyao and jesline, whereby you 2 really made my Monday lunches fruitful and nice! =)

how i wish u and jo were with me at Easter service.. but it's ok, we still have next year and many many more years to come! i'm looking forward to tomorrow.. cos u and jo coming back le! =)

19th Apr'08

After class, went to meet my sister Jo to go see phones and dinner. I suggested to Jo to buy PDA phone as my medicine fren told me it's needed for students taking medicine. Anyway, i'm praying hard that my sis can get into Medicine, and also get the scholarship that she's applying for =) After window shopping around, i brought her to Godiva to try their KILLER choc drink that costs $10!!! Sis drank the 1st mouth and was speechless! haha! after that, we went to Esplanade and brought her to eat her fav: Or Lua!!! haha! We ate super a lot! $8 worth of or lua + $4 worth of hokkien mee(i eat myself.. hee!) + $5 hum + 2 cups of $2 sugarcane juice with lemon~~~ One word to describe when all the food was finished -> SATISFIED =)
P.S. Evidence of super-delicious Godiva choc drink and dinner spread are shown above =)

20th Apr'08
After class, met up with my church fren Jesline. We went town to makan KFC and watched "Vantage Point", which is a super cool movie! the movie is shown in 8 points of view, although the repeat of the same scene can be kinda irritating at times. haha =) after movie, went to the Starbucks near church (as Jesline got to go church at 730pm for Easter decor) to chill over coffee. Thanks to Jesline for sharing God's values to me, and i'm really appreciative of what you and Junyao do for me =)
After that, went to Pasir Ris MRT to 'fetch' my bro, HZ. His 1st book-out from BMT! haha =) looks kinda cute with the botak look, gonna miss him in camps~ anyway, bro! i'm praying hard that you get into OCS and i strongly believe you can do it! =)
It's been about 5 days le... Wondering how are you? Enjoying yourself there? Or had so much fun that forgot me le... haha! anyway, looking forward to Sunday when you come back!
miss you lots!

Something shitty happened during advertising class... Bob gave a stunner to the class by saying that every ad agency got to sack one member from the agency, and guess what! I'm the one who got the axe! Haiz! Really exposes the back-stabbers in my group and in the end, the person who never do anything get to stay in the group. Anyway, I rather focus all my efforts on the new group and make sure we will out-win and out-smart the rest of the groups, and prove to them that we can make it and will succeed!

How's Thailand? Is the wedding very posh and grand? Hope you are enjoying yourself there~ Anyway, please take care of yourself and look forward to seeing you soon..

i miss you

It was indeed a long wait for your reply, but it seems like the wait is really worthwhile =) Anyway, when you smsed me that you sent your reply to me via email, I was actually on the way home from school... I was really tempted to find somewhere with Internet access to check what you replied, but instead, I decided to leave it till I reach home then check. In fact, yesterday night I was feeling kinda down and moody; thus, I decided to 'talk' to God, and prayed to him to ask him to show me the direction with regards to the relationship between you and me. After reading your email, it seems like God really helped me by showing me the direction that I should take. Anyway, I wish you will enjoy yourself at Bangkok (which I know you will, as it can be evidently seen from your Phuket photos), and hope to meet up with you when you are back on Sunday =)

It will be a lie if i say i will not miss you when you are at Bangkok.
I will miss you lots =)

It's 5am now... Just came back from drinks with Desmond at the 24hr coffee-shop near our places. We had 4 bottles of Heineken, a $4 or lua and a $3 bak chor mee per person =) To sum it all up, SATISFYING!

Went down to help out with Brenda at one of her parties for young kids at Temasek Club. They were having a birthday party, and we went down to conduct several activities for 1 hour. Brenda paid me $50, which I find is really good $, although she said as time goes on, if I'm confident to run the party myself, I will earn more =) Anyway, the kids were really very nice and adorable, and that made me look forward to the next available party that Brenda has!~

After the party, went down to church to join Jolene and Jaclyn for youth service. Missed the 1st half of the service, but it was still a very enriching time spent at service. "It's more blessed to give than to receive".

After service, we went down to JBAC for Alfred's ITE's campfire. As it was a rather small pax camp (80+ campers), it was still nice as many instructors went down to support =) After campfire, we walked out to the 975 bus-stop and found out that the last bus had left =( Luckily, the last 975 bus came along and the bus driver was REALLY NICE and THOUGHTFUL and decided to do us all a favor by sending us all to Kranji MRT. And to add on to the luck, when we reached Kranji, we still managed to catch the LAST MRT; thus, saving all of us cab $. THANK YOU MR YEO YEW PENG aka 975 bus driver!~!

Glad that you liked the phone pouch and lanyard I got for you...
Anyway, hope you will enjoy yourself at Bangkok...
And take good care of yourself when you are there k?
=)

Finally the end of the week! Just finished conducting the focus group interview for my COM300, and Nina approved and said our focus group interview was OK! =) After class, went town to chill with Nic and Mel; after that, meeting Desmond for dinner and drinks at a place he recommended, Timbre~ The place is really nice and the live band was pretty good too! Booze was at Happy Hour price, 5 Heineken @ $50! =)

Was really happy to hear your voice just now... Can't wait to see you tomorrow at church... Anyway, hope you will like the Easter present I got for you =)

Today just finished mid-term exam for COM125, it was pretty hard and really a pain in the ass! Haha! Wrote quite a lot of computer crap! Hope that I can get at least a B.

It was nice having lunch with my new church friends on Mon 10/3. They surprised me by getting me a nice bible wrapped within a denim pouch. Thanks Jesline and JunYao! =) You all are really very sincere and warm towards me, and that really touched me and made me want to know God. Anyway, I know you all have another paper on Saturday, must jiayou k? I will pray hard for the both of you =)

How's camp? Everything going on well for you? The weather really sucks, hope you did not get caught too much in the rain. Must take care and drink lots of water k? Especially the weather is hot at one point and cold at another point. I'm looking forward to seeing you on Saturday =)

Mon 11/3
Met HZ to buy army stuff for his enlistment... Anyway, HZ bro, when you are inside, please remember the do's and don't's that I had told you, never ever forget, and trust me, before you know it, BMT will be over~ After that, met Jaclyn and Jolene at Kushin Bo to celebrate Jolene's birthday. Without doubt and suspicion, the food there is really very delicious, whereby 'someone' seems to have a bottomless stomach, kept eating and eating. HAHA! =) I got a nice necklace from Perlini Silver for Jolene, hope she will like it =) After that, we all went off to airport to accompany Jaclyn wait for her younger sister to come back from Yunnan; whereby we used a warm chocolate scone as birthday cake and sang a birthday song for Jolene in Starbucks T2.

Tue 12/3
Watched "Rule #1" with Jaclyn, Jolene, HZ and Kent at AMK Hub Cathay... The show was pretty scary and had a nice twist at the end too.

HZ bro... Please take good care of yourself when in camp. Don't think too much, and trust me, let nature take its own course, and who knows, the river may flow in the direction that you desired.

the smell of you on my jacket
reminds me how sweet and pretty you look when you smile

Fri 7/3
Ian's day event for Shi Lin Primary School @ Sentosa. Was the runner for the event, kinda SHIONG cos got to conduct 3 sand-castle building sessions under the freaking hot sun! But, the kids were fun and nice, and they even have Old Chang Kee curry puffs for tea break la! Cool man!~

Sat 8/3
Met HZ for tanning. After that, met Jolene and Jaclyn to go for tertiary service at church. I'm starting to feel that my Sat is more well-spent and it is very fruitful after going to church. After that, went down to Wellington campfire; whereby in the end, I stayed overnight with some of the new instructors, and had a very nice chat with YS throughout the entire night...

I'm so gonna miss doing camps and coming in for campfires...
Especially not being able to see you in camps anymore...
It's ok..
May will come soon...
Wait for me to be back =)

Went in for Fajar campfire today... Co-hosted the campfire with Ian. It was pretty good, as the kids were pretty obedient and responsive, especially the PLs and the seniors. Initially, I thought this will be my 2nd last campfire, cos I'm supposed to do Eunice's Wellington Primary camp this coming Fri-Sun; but in the end, I was dropped and now I'm doing Ian's day event on Friday.

Felt kinda disappointed that Eunice dropped me cos I wanted to do the last 3d2n camp for this current semester, but seems like I don't have the chance to do so le... Anyway, for the potato fans in HA(hee ;)), you all will NOT see me till I make my comeback in May, cos I got to focus my FULL attention on my studies for this semester.

I am glad that you are feeling happy now. It was nice having the opportunity to have you sit beside me when driving today. I'm praying very hard that you will get the results that you want this Friday. Anyway, gonna miss you since I will not be doing any more camps for HA after this Friday's day event. Hope you will take good care of yourself in future camps and drink lots of water k? =)

I got to blog this because I just finished watching the Channel 8 drama serial at 7pm.

The main lead actor said this: "Dating is like walking into a forest. Some people walk for a while, and found a tree that they like almost immediately. But for some, they take their time and choose a tree that they really really like."

I was pondering... Am I the right tree for you? Can feelings be nurtured over time, as they always say?

P.S. Went in to JBAC today to check out the Fajar kids... I tagged along with Jo's group (reported to be very quiet by the instructor herself), whereby I found that Fajar kids are indeed obedient and nice~ Can't wait for campfire tomorrow! =)

How's Phuket?
I know you will definitely enjoy yourself there...
Hope to see you soon =)

It was a boring Sunday for me today... Went to the temple with my family to "Bu Yun", which means to be blessed with good luck for the rest of the year; whereby it was an once-a-year event that my family never misses.

Spent rotting for the afternoon, did some COM125 blog homework and research for my COM242 Annotated Bibliography.

Met for Desmond for drinks at the nearby 24hr coffeeshop for beer.. It was really nice as we shared our affairs of the heart with one another. Anyway, Desmond, I agree with you that rejection is just a myth, and it is indeed true that no one knows what the future holds; therefore, I will hang on to that little faith and hope that one day, she will change her mind.

Hope you are enjoying yourself at Phuket...
You are missed...

I'm still feeling that I had lost something... which is really very sad. =(

How's Phuket? Fun? I bet you are having lots of fun there! Hope that the awkwardness did not affect your holiday mood..

My parents are leaving for Macau on the 3rd, FINALLY, I have the full access to the car for 5 days (3rd-7th). Hehe;) I should be going in for Ian's Fajar campfire on the 5th, after my PCB for Wellington Pri.

Anyway, I was thinking... Would it still be possible for us to go catch "The Leap Years" and sit on the Singapore Flyer? It's just a random thought...

i miss your smile =)

28th February 2008
An unforgettable date
The day you took my heart and smashed it into pieces
I was really heartbroken
"Our characters don't match"
"There is no chemistry between us"

I know most or all guys will choose to ignore the girl who had broken their hearts, but for me... I had chosen the path to remain as friends with you. I know there is this sense of awkwardness between us now, but I really hope it will die off soon...

Have a little faith, alex.
It's not the end of the world yet.
