Hey people! Thanks to those who still visit my blog and tag before you leave, your presence is deeply appreciated. Anyway, just want to blog about today.
Met up with Justin bro for fellowship at Tampines Mall. We had BUDGET dinner at KOPITIAM foodcourt; whereby I ate my favorite yong tau foo (the one whereby you CANNOT choose the ingredients you want), in a special set with noodles (my personal favorite), a bowl of yong tau foo soup, a plate of kangkong in their special sauce (until now, I do not know what sauce it is), and a plate of fried tou fu. As for Justin, he had fried fish with E noodle soup, whereby the fried fish is pretty tasty and do NOT have the fishy smell. After dinner, we walked around in Tampines Mall and went to Levi's to buy the T-shirt, in support of World Aids Day. Justin was steady enough to share with me, as 2 T-shirts=$39.90. I bought the white one, while Justin bought the blue one. Afterwards, we went to watch the movie "Body of Lies", which starred Leonardo DiCaprio. I recalled the last movie I saw with him is "Catch Me If You Can", so it has been some time since he acted in a movie. It was a pretty good movie, with lots of action, and went to many (lost count) countries to film. Due to the economic situation now, every cent counts. Thus, I feel that spending $7 to watch "Body of Lies" is pretty worth it, as it is a pretty big blockbuster. Therefore, friends out there who have not watched this movie, please do go and watch, although there are some pretty violent scenes. After movie, sent Justin home and while on the way home, I raced with a biker. Actually, not really is race la, but it was a pretty short stretch of say 200m? It was the short flyover that links Tampines to Pasir Ris; whereby after taking a left turn from Tampines, it was a straight stretch all the way.
The race is as follows: After both of us turned right, we were travelling on the extreme right lane. I was tail-gating him, and he gave way after a while. I changed to 2nd gear and sped off. After like say 2 seconds, I think the biker changed gear to 1st/2nd gear, and ZOOMED past me. I could practically hear his exhaust at the left of my car, SUPER LOUD! Upon reaching the top of the flyover, a car filtered out suddenly. He took a quick swerve to the left and overtook the car. Imagine this... The flyover has 3 lanes; I was at the extreme right lane, the biker and the filtering car on the middle lane too. I bet he was travelling at about 110KM/H while swerving to overtake the filtering car. Eventually, both of us got to STOP at the T-junction as it was RED LIGHT. As my windows were down, I showed him the THUMB-UP sign for the speed his bike has, and he smiled back at me. This is really what I call FRIENDLY racing. HAHA! =)))
That's about it... Can't wait for 5th Dec to come, then I will be free from this pretty sucky semester. Ciaoz~
